Special thanks: The Chair, Cary Herold, would like to thank
Harry and Cathie Parrott, Dolly Simplot, Dolly's daughter
Deborah Banks, Keith Kelly, Ruth Marwitz, and Maria Garcia for
their hard work setting up, working, and tearing down the booth
at the recent Clay County RiverFest. Thanks also to Linda Nazworth for the decorated
candy basket and "Democrats"-decorated tablecloth, and
her
own daughter, Shannon Williams, for her decorative lettering and
sign-making, as well as her husband, David Herold, for devising
the stand that holds our banner. Also, thanks go
out to State Representative candidate for District 19, Larry
Jones, and his son Larry Jr., for stopping by (and helping to
teardown). And special thanks to all
the new and returning Democrats we met on Monday the 26th!
Check
out some pictures from the RiverFest.
Sign-wavers needed! Our Clay County Chair,
Cary Herold, has signs to inform motorists that we have a Clay
County website. From this website, they learn about our
meetings, events and how to help. If you will hold up a sign on
a busy sidewalk for maybe one hour, contact
Cary to get your signs . Ideally,
this should be done in pairs, so if needed we’ll try to pair you
up with someone else.
Absentee ballots. Please consider signing
up to vote by absentee ballot. Any registered voter can make
this request by contacting the Elections Office in Clay County
(904.269.6350). Great benefits to you, and to your party. (Ask
that absentee ballots be sent to you for the next two election
cycles - through the 2010 election cycle.)
